Woodcock gets creative with Pathe

LONDON -- French-owned, U.K.-based production, finance and distribution movie banner Pathe U.K. has appointed Colleen Woodcock to head its creative affairs department here.

Woodcock, most recently head of development at Michael Kuhn's production and finance house Qwerty Films, replaces Celine Haddad, who recently left the French-owned company to "develop and produce" her own projects, according to Pathe.

Before Qwerty, where she oversaw development and production for such Qwerty-financed productions as "Stage Beauty" and "Severance," Woodcock worked in development and production in Los Angeles for 10 years.

During her time on the West Coast, Woodcock was involved in projects including "The Usual Suspects" and "Con Air."

Woodcock's appointment was jointly made by Pathe executive vp Francois Ivernel and Pathe U.K. managing director Cameron McCracken.
