Woody Allen's 'Cafe Society' Visits Old Hollywood in First Trailer

Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Steve Carell and Blake Lively star in the film, which will debut in Cannes.

The first trailer for Woody Allen's Cafe Society, which will be the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival in May, debuted Thursday, throwing viewers back into 1930s Hollywood.

Jesse Eisenberg stars in the pic as a young man who moves from New York to Los Angeles, where he's swept up in the madness of the movie business. Steve Carell portrays a Hollywood agent, while Kristen Stewart plays his assistant who shows Eisenberg's character around the town.

"I'm kind of half-bored, half-fascinated," says Eisenberg's character of his adventures in L.A.

Cafe Society also stars Blake Lively and Parker Posey, among others.

Amazon and Lionsgate are releasing the movie, which will premiere at Cannes, playing out of competition.
