'Wrestler,' 'Che' to play AFI fest

Event also added four special screenings to lineup

Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler" and Steven Soderbergh's "Che" will both play AFI Fest 2008 in the film festival's centerpiece screening slots. "Che" will have its West Coast premiere on Nov. 1 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, and "The Wrestler's" West Coast premiere will take place Nov. 6 at the Chinese.

The epic "Che" will screen in its entireity, with a 30-minute intermission.

AFI Fest has also added four special screenings to its lineup. They are Rian Johnson's "The Brothers Bloom"; Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck's "Sugar"; Joon-ho Bong, Leos Carax and Michel Gondry's "Tokyo!"; and James Gray's "Two Lovers."

AFI Fest runs Oct. 30-Nov. 9.
