Writer-producer Ahmet Zappa has signed with ICM in all areas.

Zappa, the son of late rock musician Frank Zappa, has several projects in play at Disney, where his production company, Monsterfoot Productions, has a first-look deal.

Among those is The Odd Life of Timothy Green, a fantasy drama based on an original story by Zappa that features Jennifer GarnerJoel Edgerton and Ron Livingston. The film, which will be released in August 2012, centers on a childless couple that is granted the wish of a baby boy, though the child is not what he appears to be.

Zappa released his debut young adult novel, The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless, in 2006; soon after its release Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films picked up Monstrous to adapt it for the big screen. The story focuses on monster hunters seeking to rescue their kidnapped father.

Monster Witness Relocation Program, which Zappa wrote, is also in development at Disney and will also be produced by him.

Zappa has also released a handful of rock albums with his brother, Dweezil. His television credits include Roseanne and Growing Pains

Zappa is also repped by attorney John LaViolette.
