WWE Does German Multiplatform Deal for 'WrestleMania,' 'NXT,' 'SmackDown' and 'Monday Night Raw'

"WWE Raw"

"WrestleMania 30" will go out as a pay-per-view event on German VOD platform Maxdome, a first for the territory.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has signed a long-term, multiplatform rights deal with Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 group to deliver its flagship programs SmackDown, NXT, Monday Night Raw and WrestleMania to fans in Germany and Austria.

The extensive deal gives ProSieben free TV, pay TV and online rights to the WWE shows. SmackDown will go out on ProSieben’s free-to-air MAXX channel weekly with NXT and Monday Night Raw airing on the group’s pay channel FUN.

In a first for the territory, all of the WWE’s pay-per-view programming, including the upcoming WrestleMania 30, will go out online in Germany and Austria via ProSieben’s VOD platform Maxdome.
