Ynon Kreiz takes over as Endemol chief

Takes helm of reality show producer

ROME -- Israeli businessman Ynon Kreiz was officially installed Tuesday as the president of reality television producer Endemol. He replaces Holland's Aat Schouwenaar, who was at Endemol's helm when "Big Brother" was created.

The change in the top leadership is the biggest at the Amsterdam-based Endemol since it was taken over last year for 3.4 billion euros ($5.4 billion) by a group of investors led by Silvio Berlusconi's Mediaset.
