YRF Entertainment is the LA-based affiliate of veteran Bollywood banner Yash Raj Films founded by Uday's father, the late director Yash Chopra. As an actor, Uday will next be seen in Yash Raj Films' hit Bollywood action franchise Dhoom 3 co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan and actress Katrina Kaif.
Co-produced by Pierre-Ange Le Pogam of Stone Angels along with Amel and Chopra, the Olivier Dahan-directed Grace of Monaco stars Nicole Kidman in the titular lead and is due for release later this year by the Weinstein Company.

“There are certain untold stories which on hearing, one realizes that not only is it a very moving story of a woman but it also seems to deliver a message which goes deeper than the life of just one woman," said Chopra.

"It seems to talk about all women through her, creating in her an icon. Ingrid Bergman was just such an icon and her romance with Robert Capa, the legendary war photographer, is a story that needs to be told. I believe that Arash Amel, who also wrote Grace of Monaco, is the perfect writer to bring this story to life and I'm very excited to have YRF Entertainment bring it to the world,” he added.
Described as an “epic, star-crossed romance of a real-life Casablanca -- two legendary figures whom destiny brought together but fate would try to keep apart” -- the film will portray “a sweeping love affair from Paris to Hollywood during World War 2, the Cold War and Hollywood's darkest hour of the McCarthy witch-hunts."

According to YRF, the script is near completion while other details such as the film's director and cast will be announced later.
