Yvonne Orji, Diane Guerrero Among Stars to Narrate 'Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World' Audiobook (Exclusive)

'Orange is the New Black' star Lorraine Toussaint, 'Black Mirror's Mirirai Sithole, 'The L Word's Patricia Velásquez and more will also lend their voices for the production, set to release on Oct. 13.

A star-studded lineup of women is set to narrate an audiobook production dedicated to sharing the lives and experiences of immigrant women.

Yvonne Orji (Insecure), Diane Guerrero (Doom Patrol, Orange is the New Black), Lorraine Toussaint (Orange is the New Black) and Mirirai Sithole (Black Mirror, Russian Doll) are among the stars set to lend their voices for the upcoming audiobook production of Elena Favilli’s Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World (Listening Library), The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively share.

Annie Q (The Leftovers, Alex Strangelove), Patricia Velásquez (The Mummy, The L Word, Arrested Development), Gisela Chípe (Bel Canto, NOS4A2)Daphne Rubin-Vega (RENT, Smash)Deepti Gupta (The Politician, Audie Award-nominated audiobook narrator) and Ifrah Mansour (multimedia artist and educator) will also narrate.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World, centers on stories of 100 women from the past and present who left their birth countries to embark on their personal journeys. Readers will be able to learn about the paths of figures including chef Asma Khan, Rihanna, Gloria Estefan, Lupita Nyong'o and politicians Madeleine Albright and Ilhan Omar.

The upcoming release marks the third volume of the New York Times-bestselling series Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. The print editions of the first two print books ranked as New York Times bestsellers, having sold more than 5.5 million copies worldwide. 

In addition to the audiobook, readers can also listen to the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls podcast, which highlights selected stories drawn from the book. Throughout each of the 14 episodes, narrators "provide inspirational insights that help every girl learn about bravery, confidence, and how to go further in pursuit of their dreams," PRH describes.

"On the podcast, young listeners will discover the stories of real life superheroes like Noor Inayat Kahn, Carmen Miranda, Arianna Huffington, and Hazel Scott with help from a cast of equally extraordinary women narrators like actress Freida Pinto, filmmaker Brenda Chapman, singer and actor Andra Day, and entrepreneur Laurene Powell Jobs," PRH Audio said in a statement.

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World will release on Oct. 13.
