'Iron Lady' Star Meryl Streep, Director Phyllida Lloyd to Answer Fan Questions During Q&A (Live Video Stream)

The Iron Lady star Meryl Streep and director Phyllida Lloyd will take part in a live Q&A on Tuesday night that will be live-streamed on The Hollywood Reporter's awards blog The Race.

The event, taking place after an advance screening of the Weinstein Co. movie, will kick off around 8:45 p.m. ET at the DGA Theater in New York. THR's awards analyst/blogger Scott Feinberg will moderate.

Film fans across the country will be able to submit questions to Streep and Lloyd about the making of the movie via IronLadyMovie.com and Facebook.com/TheIronLadyMovie.

In the movie, opening in select U.S. theaters Dec. 30 and expanding Jan. 17, Streep portrays Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female prime minister of the United Kingdom. The actress has been earning awards buzz for the role.

Jim Broadbent, Harry Lloyd, Olivia Colman and Alexandra Roach co-star in the movie, which was written by Abi Morgan and produced by François Ivernel, Damian Jones, Adam Kulick, Cameron McCracken, Anita Overland, Tessa Ross and Colleen Woodcock.

The Weinstein Co. said it hosted a similar event last year for The King's Speech -- which went on to win best picture at the Oscars -- that saw more than 20,000 questions submitted in a 30-minute period during the Q&A.
