Producers Guild Again Shifts Key Dates for 2021 Awards

The 32nd Producers Guild of America Awards will take place Wednesday, March 24, as was announced back in September. But several other key dates on the PGA's awards timeline, including the date of the nominations announcement, have since shifted, the organization announced Thursday.

Below is a breakdown of the changes:

Announcement of Nominees for Documentary Feature Film — moved from Thursday, Feb. 11, to Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Close of Nomination Polls for Theatrical Motion Pictures, Animated Motion Pictures, Television Series/Specials, Televised/Streamed Motion Pictures — moved from Thursday, March 11, to Sunday, March 7, at 2 p.m.

Announcement of Nominees for Theatrical Motion Pictures, Animated Motion Pictures, Television Series/Specials, Televised/Streamed Motion Pictures — moved from Friday, March 12, to Monday, March 8.

Opening of Final Polls for Documentary Motion Pictures, Theatrical Motion Pictures, Animated Motion Pictures, TV Series/Specials, Televised/Streamed Motion Pictures — moved from Friday, March 12, to Monday, March 8.

All other key dates, as listed in The Hollywood Reporter's post from September, remain unchanged.

The PGA will share additional information about eligibility dates for the Innovation Award, as well as its annual PGA East and West Coast Celebrations of 2021 Producers Guild Awards nominees and producing teams, at a later date.
