Scott Millan to Receive CAS Career Achievement Award

The veteran re-recording mixer won Oscars for "Apollo 13," "Gladiator," "Ray" and "The Bourne Ultimatum."

Four-time Oscar-winning re-recording mixer Scott Millan -- whose credits range from Apollo 13 to The Bourne Ultimatum--will receive the Cinema Audio Society’s highest accolade, the CAS Career Achievement Award, at the 48th CAS Awards on February 18 at the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel.

Millan has been nominated for an Oscar 8 times and won four, for the films Apollo 13, Gladiator, Ray and The Bourne Ultimatum. He has also won three CAS Awards and three BAFTAs.

His credits include Schindler’s List, Braveheart, American Beauty, Road to Perdition, as well as the Bourne films.

In the fall of 2011, Millan took a new position at the Technicolor/Paramount sound facilities on the Paramount lot, continuing his work as re-recording mixer and serving as sound director for feature films.
