Emmy Roundtable: Reality
Producers, judges and hosts of reality shows don't have it easy, or so we learned at THR's annual Emmy Reality Roundtable. There's the weight gain, weight loss, sleep deprivation, the occasional flatulent judge and, for one, a night spent in a holding cell in Ukraine. But this crop of talent -- Eli Holzman (Undercover Boss), Phil Keoghan (The Amazing Race), Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef), Nigel Lythgoe (American Idol), Drew Pinsky (Celebrity Rehab) and J.D. Roth (The Biggest Loser) -- also say their genre has never been more relevant and can actually be a force for good, so long as it's not the one show on cable that Lythgoe says "drives me crazy."

Emmy Roundtable: Comedy Actors
Danny DeVito, Joel McHale, Ed O'Neil, Jon Cryer, Rob Lowe, Chris Colfer and Neil Patrick Harris let loose in a free-wheeling discussion of the state of comedy, on-set jokes and wild co-stars.

Emmy Contender Series: On the Set of 'Modern Family'
THR captured behind the scene moments as Ed O'Neill and Jesse Tyler Ferguson hung out March 10 between takes of the season finale, which centers on Jay Pritchett's (O'Neill) birthday. Of his sailor suit, Ferguson said: "I was bizarrely excited to wear it. I put it on first thing, even though we weren't shooting right away."

THR's Emmy Icon Covers
TV icons Mary Tyler Moore, Michael J. Fox, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bryan Cranston -- together winners of 16 Emmys -- are featured on four separate covers of The Hollywood Reporter's special Emmy issue. Each of the four THR cover stars was selected for his or her dominance of a decade of TV, with Moore representing the 1970s, Fox standing for the 80s, Louis-Dreyfus for the 90s and Cranston the 'aughts.

Emmy Nominations 2011: Snubs and Shockers
Some of the hits and disses on this year's list include lead actor in drama series newbie Sean Bean of HBO's Game of Thrones, who delivered a powerful season in the lead role of Lord Eddard “Ned” Stark. And both Big Bang Theory guys nominated for outstanding lead actor in comedy series. Emmy winner Jim Parsons was expected to be a shoe-in for another nom, but his castmate too? It’ll be interesting if Parsons can leave Johnny Galecki in the dust and win again or if they’ll split the BBT votes and neither wins.
