The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is joining the virtual parade of cultural events on Dec. 3 with DreamBuilders: From Post Office to Box Office.

Presented by Harry Winston and scheduled for Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m., the event will honor Vicki Reynolds, president emeritus Richard Rosenzweig and founding president Paul Selwyn. Wallis board members Debbie Allen and Nigel Lythgoe are teaming as hosts with Daphna Nazarian and Stephanie Vahn who are serving as co-chairs. Wallis Annenberg is honorary chair.

Entertainment will from Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine; Academy Award-winner Jeremy Irons, who starred in the Wallis presentation of Long Day’s Journey into Night; artist-in-residence and violinist Daniel Hope; jazz great Patrice Rushen; Grammy-nominated R&B singer Sheléa; American Idol finalist Tamyra Gray with Lily Zager, star student from GRoW @ the Wallis’ Broadway Dreams program and the Miracle Project; the John Burrows High School Powerhouse Choir; and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.

The evening will serve as a fundraiser for Hope @ The Wallis, a resiliency fund created to help the cultural institution through the COVID-19 pandemic, which has decimated live event venues across the country.

“As we celebrate the Wallis’ silver anniversary, we proudly recognize Vicki Reynolds, Paul Selwyn and the late Richard Rosenzweig for their enormous role in its founding,” said benefit co-chairs Nazarian and Vahn. “Their extraordinary vision, exceptional leadership and tireless efforts over many years helped ensure the Wallis’ genesis. Twenty-five years ago, they envisioned a future where an iconic Beverly Hills post office could become a world-class performance venue, delivering the performing arts, civic life and arts education to our community."
