Freebies are big at Sundance, but Jason Mantzoukas had his hands full with a free gift even before he touched down in Park City.

The actor — at the festival for the world premiere of The Long Dumb Road and to host the closing-night gala — was one of many VIP guests to take Delta Air Lines' fourth annual "Delta Festival Shuttle" from LAX to Salt Lake City for this year's Sundance Film Festival. He just happened to be luckier than the rest as his name was announced as one of the winners of a free Delta ticket to his hometown, Boston. The trips, given away at random, are always a coveted accoutrement, but there was plenty of fun to go around on the flight, on which The Hollywood Reporter had a seat.

The jaunt, which is less than two hours, features an open bar, snacks and plenty of film-centric networking. Guests included actors Issa Rae, Zoe Kazan, Nick Offerman, Jason Mantzoukas, Tony Revelori and Jessica Williams; and industry notables Len Amato, Bob Berney, Miranda Bailey, Jason Blum, Daniel Battsek, Aleen Kashishian and Hannah Minghella.

Also of note: UTA agent David Flynn took over the microphone early in the flight to wish his client Nicolas Pesce a happy birthday. Pesce has a film, Piercing, which will have its world premiere at Sundance.

Passengers got the party started early with breakfast in the terminal at local favorite Barney's Beanery.
