Steve Bannon's Film Company Address Is a UPS Box
What’s happening with Steve Bannon, movie-maker? The answer: not much.
Dig deep into the past of the Breitbart News chairman turned White House consigliere and you’ll find a string of odd Hollywood connections — Bannon was an investor in Sean Penn’s The Indian Runner (1991) and co-executive produced the Anthony Hopkins starrer Titus (1999); he also made a killing from his investment in Castle Rock Entertainment, which produced Seinfeld.
In recent years, he’s been absent from mainstream films but has devoted himself to right-skewing documentaries, largely funded by (and serving as fundraisers for) the political action committee Citizens United. Titles include 2011’s The Undefeated (about Sarah Palin) and 2016’s Clinton Cash (about — uh, you guessed).
Now that may be over, too. Two former colleagues say they have no awareness of any ongoing projects, and the definitive sign that Bannon has put Hollywood in his past may be office digs: THR tracked down the address his Bannon Film Industries lists on IMDb — and found a UPS postal box.
