Awards season always produces unexpected celebrity encounters — and sometimes they're awkward.

That's what Amy Landecker found out in 2015, when she bumped into her House of Lies co-star Don Cheadle on the Golden Globes red carpet. Landecker had done a guest spot on Cheadle's Showtime show and the two had filmed a racy sex scene. "It was kind of raunchy and had to be shot three times from behind," Landecker explains. "I ran into him on the red carpet when he was talking to Jeffrey Tambor. I said, 'Hey Don, do you remember me? You [blanked] me in the [blank].'"

Recalling the incident to The Hollywood Reporter at this year's Globes, the Transparent star says: "And he goes, 'Amy, this is my wife and my kid.' I started to cry."

Tears aside, Landecker is now able to laugh about the situation thanks to Cheadle. "He's so sweet, he told me to tell that story the rest of my life."
