Twitter Users Nominate Billy Bush as Press Secretary in Donald Trump White House
Donald Trump has just clinched an unexpected win in his bid to become the 45th president of the United States, and Twitter users aren't wasting any time in nominating ousted Today show anchor Billy Bush for a top job in Trump's White House administration.
Bush negotiated his exit from Today with NBC executives in mid-October just days after The Washington Post released video of a lewd 2005 conversation between Bush, then a co-host of NBC's Access Hollywood, and Trump, then a reality TV star on the network's Celebrity Apprentice. And while Bush lost his gig as a result of the questionable chat that saw Trump brag about committing sexual assault, the brash candidate has locked down the biggest job the U.S. has to offer, reports the Associated Press.
That juxtaposition was not lost on social media late Tuesday night, with many users nominating Bush for jobs including that of Trump's White House press secretary, while others just wondered in 140 characters or less if Bush would get his job back. Stranger things have happened …
