Denzel Washington stars as a neck-snapping good-guy-gone-bad who is captured and kept in a safe house in Cape Town guarded by a young ambitious CIA agent, Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds).

But it’s not so safe after all, and Reynold’s character must move his dangerous captive to a different location.
“They’re here for me, but they want me alive. They’ll kill you,” Washington’s character tells Weston.

The trailer for Daniel Espinosa’s film promises promises plenty of guns, explosions and a sash of waterboarding. Oh, and Vera Farmiga as a exposition-spewing agent.
The Universal Pictures film is set for a February 10, 2012, release.
