WME has signed filmmaker David Dobkin.

The Wedding Crashers director is making the move to WME with his longtime agent of 15 years, Dan Aloni, who departed CAA for WME in March.

Also a writer and producer, Dobkin's credits include producing and directing The Change-Up and Fred Claus.

Dobkin is executive producing Universal's Ryan Reynolds- and Jeff Bridges-starring supernatural action movie R.I.P.D., which recently completed shooting. He also co-wrote and is producing New Line's Jack The Giant Killer. The modern-day fairy tale stars Nicholas Holdt, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci and Bill Nighy.

Via his Big Kid Pictures banner, Dobkin is currently casting the leads for the Warner Bros. feature Arthur & Lancelot, which he wrote. That project was set with Kit Harrington and Joel Kinnaman in the lead roles but Warners got cold feet and the movie has since been reconceived.

Also at Warner Bros., Dobkin is set to direct The Judge, which centers on a lawyer trying to solve the mystery of his mother's death and will star Robert Downey Jr. Dobkin is also slated to produce a reboot of the Vacation franchise for New Line.
