Colorful basics brand Entireworld is joining forces with Warby Parker and getting into the glasses game. After working its way into quarantine wardrobes last year, the Los Angeles-based label (founded in 2018 by CAA agent-turned-Band of Outsiders creative director Scott Sternberg) is now putting its sunny spin on the eyewear brand’s best-selling Hatcher frames, a 1970s-inspired acetate aviator that’s now available in four new shades.
Priced at $95 per pair, the Warby Parker x Entireworld collection comes in green, light pink, navy and oxblood colorways in prescription or non-prescription lenses, and includes an exclusive lens cloth. And the one-for-one eyewear brand is taking its do-gooder mission a step further with this collab by donating to Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit organization that’s working to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the U.S. (Warby Parker distributes glasses to someone in need for every pair purchased.)
To showcase the collection, Entireworld also tapped artists Tosin Kalejaye, Diana Ejaital, Brooke Fierce Bronner and Olamide Ogunade to create photorealistic portraits that illustrate their optimistic vision of summer.
Specs wearers looking to complete their stylish return to society might want to pair their shades with Entireworld’s most recent launch of Indian block print and patchwork dresses, a departure from the brand’s typically solid-hued basics available in nearly every color of the rainbow. The brand tapped actress Selma Blair to model the line, who Sternberg photographed at a home in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates.
As for the throwback frames, the collection is available online at Warby Parker’s website and app and in select stores. Shoppers in L.A. and New York will also score a custom mini tote when they purchase the exclusive frames at a Warby Parker boutique.
