Busan: Japan’s Hirokazu Kore-eda Named Asian Filmmaker of the Year
Japanese Palme d'Or-winning director Hirokazu Kore-eda will be awarded the title of Asian Filmmaker of the Year at the Busan International Film Festival. The 'Shoplifters' director will be honored despite a trade spat between South Korea and Japan that has spilled over into the entertainment sector.
