From Hunan Group's $1.5 billion pact with Lionsgate to Perfect World's $500 million deal with Universal, Schuyler Moore has been at the center of some of the industry's biggest cross-Pacific deals — and now he's bringing his talents to noted entertainment firm Greenberg Glusker.

“I am thrilled to join such talented and forward thinking entertainment lawyers," says Moore. "Greenberg Glusker has been a top entertainment firm in Hollywood for a long time, but beyond traditional entertainment it is also at the forefront of new media and technology, which is where the industry is headed.”

While in recent years he's become a specialist in Hollywood-China partnerships, repping the likes of Alibaba Pictures, Pegasus Media Group and Leomus Pictures, the veteran has been a corporate dealmaker for more than three decades — most of which he's spent at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

“Sky is one of the top lawyers in entertainment," says Matt Galsor, who heads the firm's entertainment group. "He is an invaluable addition to any entertainment firm, especially during these times of tectonic shifts in our business and its rapid convergence with technology. There is no better lawyer to navigate the uncharted waters of entertainment’s future than Sky.”

Moore will be joined at the firm by his colleagues Sally C. James, Ryan D. Webb and Eric B. Olea.
