ABC will take its time rolling out its fall 2018 schedule, saving perhaps its most anticipated premiere — Roseanne spinoff The Conners — for the fourth week of the season.
The network will debut its Monday and Wednesday shows and two-thirds of its TGIT lineup during premiere week, starting with the Dancing With the Stars/The Good Doctor combo Monday, Sept. 24. Grey’s Anatomy will have a two-hour premiere Thursday, Sept. 27, pushing Station 19‘s second-season debut to Oct. 4.
ABC is also reviving the TGIF label for its Friday lineup of Fresh Off the Boat, Speechless and game show Child Support, all of which debut Oct. 5. Sunday has a staggered rollout, with America’s Funniest Home Videos premiering Sept. 30, Dancing With the Stars: Juniors and Shark Tank Oct. 7 and The Alec Baldwin Show on Oct. 14.
The Alphabet’s Tuesday slate arrives Oct. 16, bookended by The Conners at 8 p.m. ET/PT and new Nathan Fillion drama The Rookie at 10 p.m.
