ABC Family will launch its new hourlong drama Jane By Design as well as fresh episodes of Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth and The Lying Game as part of its January lineup.
The network announced Thursday that Jane, starring Erica Dasher as a quirky teen with an eclectic fashion sense who lands a job alongside a demanding fashionista (Andie MacDowell), will premiere Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, Pretty Little Liars will return on a new night, Monday, Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. as the Lucy Hale starrer continues its search for “A’s” identity. The Lying Game will follow on the same night with fresh episodes — featuring recurring guest star Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) at 9 p.m.
Summer hit Switched at Birth will premiere new episodes on a new day and time starting Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 8 p.m. as the families deal with the arrival of Bay’s (Vanessa Marano) biological father Angelo (Gilles Marini).
The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It Or Break It will return with new episodes in early spring 2012.
