ABC Family is adding two new reality shows, Dancing Fools and The Vineyard, to the schedule.
Dancing Fools, a half-hour unscripted comedy hosted by Baby Daddy‘s Melissa Peterman, and Vineyard, a one-hour docusoap following a group of twentysomethings in Martha’s Vineyard during the summer, will launch in the summer. Production begins in the spring.
Dancing Fools is created and executive produced by Phil Gurin (The Singing Bee, Oh Sit!) and produced by the Gurin Co.
Vineyard is created and executive produced by Davie Broome (The Biggest Loser) and Brian Smith (MasterChef). 25/7 Productions is behind it.
In addition to hosting Dancing Fools and starring in the new season of Baby Daddy, Peterman also will host ABC’s Bet on Your Baby, which premieres this spring.
The two series join recently announced scripted efforts Twisted (formerly Socio) and The Fosters. ABC Family launched unscripted series Beverly Hills Nannies in July.
