Three of ABC News’ Twitter accounts were hacked early Thursday morning, sending pro-Trump posts out to the respective feeds.
The social media accounts for ABC News, Good Morning America and GMA‘s GMA Pop News were all hacked, ABC confirmed on Thursday.
“We resolved the issue quickly & errant tweets were deleted,” ABC News said in a statement.
The Walt Disney Co.-owned ABC News, which has close to 10 million followers on Twitter, had confirmed the hack on its own ABC News PR Twitter account earlier on Thursday morning, at first saying they were “working on resolving the problem.”
Some of the posts were captured by Twitter users (see below) before they were deleted.

“Trump is our lord and savior,” read one tweet sent out via ABC News, while another said, “Shouts to real news follow @CNN.” Several posts contained expletives.
