Barbara Walters has scored an interview with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. But perhaps more significantly, Trump’s wife Melania will also join the interview.
The interview will air as a special edition of 20/20 on Friday, Nov. 20, while portions of the interview will air first on World News Tonight with David Muir.
The Slovene-born former model and mother of Trump’s youngest son Barron has not joined her husband on the campaign trail. But she has not always been media shy. In 2000, according to the New York Times, she posed in a replica of the Oval Office — in heels and a red bikini — for Talk magazine.
Melania Trump has not been entirely absent — she watched the Fox News Republican debate in Cincinnati with Trump’s adult children. But more often, it is Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, 33, who stumps with her father.
