After an initial bow on the web and an Emmy in 2012, Childrens Hospital has nabbed a fifth season on Comedy Central’s Adult Swim.
The series, along with sophomore laugher NTSF:SD:SUV, was renewed on Wednesday.
VIDEO: Rob Corddry Campaigns for Childrens Hospital
Childrens Hospital, which nabbed a recent Emmy in the Outstanding Special Class: Short-format Live-Action Entertainment Programs category for creator Rob Corddry, has seen a revolving door of known actors and comedians since its 2008 debut.
The short run time (barely over 10 minutes) and convenient December shooting schedule, has allowed for cast members Corddry, Megan Mullally, Rob Huebel, Erinn Hayes and Ken Marino to get frequent visits from the likes of Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman and Ed Helms.
NTSF:SD:SUV (short for National Terrorist Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle) was created by Paul Scheer and also stars June Diane Raphael and Martin Starr.
New episodes will return in 2013.
