Cartoon Network is heading into Comic-Con in a big way for the second year in a row: by renewing five of its top-performing series.
Returning for additional seasons are Adventure Time, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe and Clarence, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
New news comes as Cartoon Network ranked as TV’s top network for kids ages 6-11 for total day (6 a.m.-8 p.m.) for the third week in a row, with ratings up 13 percent in the demo.

Peabody winner Adventure Time and Emmy winner Regular Show will be back for their respective eighth seasons; Emmy winner Uncle Grandpa and Steven Universe will return for their third seasons, and Clarence will be back for a sophomore run, with the latter scoring an additional 13-episode order this time last year.
Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe and Clarence all hail from Cartoon Network Studios’ artist-driven Shorts Program.

Nearly all five series rank No. 1 in their respective time periods among kids/boys and are helping to propel Cartoon Network to become the top ad-supported network among kids ages 6-11.
The early renewals for Adventure Time and Regular Show come as Cartoon Network has yet to schedule a premiere date for season seven beyond the summer. Steven Universe returns July 13; Uncle Grandpa returns in the summer, with season three set for 2016; and Clarence returns July 20.
Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa will panel Friday at 10 a.m. in the Indigo Ballroom, Adventure Time and Steven Universe are set for 11 a.m. in the Indigo Ballroom, and Clarence will host a Pajama Party at 8 p.m. in Room 7AB this week at Comic-Con.
