Longtime All My Children casting director Judy Blye Wilson has found her next gig and it’s not the online version of the long-running soap opera.
Wilson, who has overseen casting for ABC’s All My Children for 21 years, has joined CBS’ The Young and the Restless, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The Daytime Emmy-winning casting director has overseen casting for the soap for years, sticking with it in 2009 when the series moved production from New York to Los Angeles but Wilson will not stay on with the production when it shifts online.
AMC capped its 41-year run on ABC on Friday in signature style – with a cliffhanger. While its run on ABC came to a conclusion Friday as the network opted in April to replace the soap – and companion One Life to Live – with a pair of new, younger-skewing hourlong lifestyle series The Chew and The Revolution.

AMC will continue its run online via a deal with Prospect Park that will see some members of the cast – including Cameron Mathison and Lindsay Hartley — continue their run when the series bows online.
