Universal Television is locking up Rashad Raisani.
The studio has inked the Allegiance executive producer to a two-year overall deal, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Under the pact, Raisani will create and develop new programs for the studio and continue to serve as executive producer on the upcoming NBC drama.

Raisani begain his career as a staff writer on USA Network’s Burn Notice, where he remained for seven seasons, rising through the ranks to serve as a co-exec producer. His started on NBC’s family spy thriller Allegiance, which debuts Feb. 5, as a co-EP and has already been promoted to EP.

Allegiance follows a young CIA analyst (Gavin Stenhouse) specializing in Russian affairs who learns that his parents are former KGB agents who have been re-enlisted to orchestrate a terrorist operation within America. George Nolfi serves as showrunner.
“We’re so pleased to have Rashad join us in this new capacity at Universal Television, where we will all benefit from his intelligence and terrific instincts,” said Bela Bajaria, executive vp at Universal Television. “We were fans of Rashad’s work on Burn Notice and White Collar, and having his expertise on Allegiance has been invaluable.”
The deal will begin in June.
