With exactly two months to go before its debut, FX has unveiled the first official trailer for American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.
The new full-length promo is chock-full of juicy previously unseen footage, including Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran yelling to “choose a side,” John Travolta as Robert Shapiro questioning Simpson’s suicide note and even David Schwimmer and Selma Blair as Robert and Kris Kardashian (now, Kris Jenner), as the former couple argue over whose side to choose: Simpson or his murdered ex-wife, Nicole.
The trailer also runs deeper, hitting on the theme of race that played a major role in Simpson’s murder trial. In one scene, Simpson (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.) declares his trial can’t be about his race because, “I’m not black, I’m O.J.”
American Crime Story premieres Feb. 2 at 10 p.m. on FX.
