American Horror Story actor Ben Woolf died on Monday from a stroke after being hit by a moving car on Feb. 19, his representatives, Tanya Kleckner and Zack Teperman, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. He was 34.
Woolf was struck in the head by the side mirror of a passing car at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Gramercy Place in Los Angeles, an LAPD spokesperson told THR on Feb. 20. The driver remained at the scene, and Woolf was transported to a nearby hospital.
“We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all over the world for our beloved Ben,” said Woolf’s family in a statement. “He touched so many hearts in his 34 years. His memory will live on within each of us and within his work.”

“Ben was one-of-a-kind, and will never be forgotten,” said Woolf’s agency ZTPR in a statement. “The time we all shared together will be remembered forever. We are still all shocked by this tragic news.”
