Anna Kendrick doesn’t turn 30 until August, but she’s already leading a different lifestyle in advance of her birthday.
“Since I’m 30 now or almost 30 or whatever, I’ve been trying to be more healthy,” Kendrick told Ellen DeGeneres. on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “And ugh, it’s the worst. It’s awful.”
The Pitch Perfect 2 star continued, “And the worst part is I feel so much better. That’s the worst part. Is that, like, it works.”

“I feel like oh, this is how healthy people feel. Yeah, all right, I get the appeal,” said Kendrick. “But I was really hoping I would just do it as an experiment, and I would feel exactly the same and I could just go back to eating Taco Bell whenever I wanted.”
The actress also chatted about the experience of driving by Pitch Perfect 2 billboards everywhere, and then played a funny game of “Oh Caption, My Caption” with DeGeneres, captioning random photos on the fly. Watch the videos below.
