NBC has tapped a familiar face to host its upcoming Wall of Fame.
Guys With Kids star Anthony Anderson has been named host of the network’s upcoming family trivia series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Each of Walk of Fame‘s eight hourlong episodes will feature one family attempting to answer pop culture trivia questions while also guessing whether members of the celebrity “wall of fame” delivered the correct answers to those same questions.

Anderson will oversee the Endemol USA (Wipeout, 1 vs. 100) series, which begins filming at the end of September. NBC picked up the game show to series in July, with NBC president of alternative and late-night programming Paul Telegdy noting it offered something for everyone. “Our celebrities will add an extra element of surprise, as they too will have their knowledge tested — providing a high potential for many unpredictable and raucous answers.”
Celebrity participants have not yet been announced.
The hosting gig brings Anderson back into the NBC family. Anderson previously starred on last season’s comedy Guys With Kids, which was canceled after one season. Anderson most recently was a contestant on NBC’s summer series Hollywood Game Night.
This marks the latest hosting job for Anderson, joining The Golf Channel’s Golf in America and various comedy and awards shows.
Anderson is repped by UTA, Principato Young and Stone Meyer. A premiere date for Wall of Fame has not yet been announced.
