Anthony Scaramucci made a not infrequent Hollywood appearance at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
According to a representative, the former White House communications director was invited by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to both the red carpet and the ceremony. He will be attended a number of parties after the ceremony, including UTA’s.
“Call me a nerd but this was my favorite celebrity spotting,” Scaramucci tweeted at the ceremony, alongside a picture of himself, his wife and Doris Kearns Goodwin, presidential historian and author of Team of Rivals and The Bully Pulpit, among others.
Scaramucci is a co-executive producer of Paterno, the HBO television movie starring Al Pacino as the disgraced former Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno. Paterno was not nominated for any Golden Globes this year, although it was nominated for two 2018 Emmys.
As of May, Scaramucci was also shopping a television project with Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti that has not yet been picked up. In October the former Trump adviser also promoted his book, Trump: The Blue Collar President, at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Scaramucci’s appearance at The Beverly Hilton led several on Twitter to speculate on why he was there.
