Apple is continuing to line up TV projects.
The tech giant has handed a straight-to-series order to See, a drama series from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence.
The project, which hails from Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content, is described as a world-building drama set in the future. Knight and Lawrence will executive produce the series, alongside Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
See is the fourth scripted series ordered by Apple, which is attempting to break into the crowded TV landscape. Shows in the queue include Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s morning-show drama, Steven Spielberg and Bryan Fuller’s sci-fi reboot Amazing Stories and Ronald D. Moore’s space drama. And just last week, Apple picked up its first docuseries, a real estate show called Home.
Knight is repped by CAA, United Agents and Nelson Davis. Lawrence is repped by CAA, 3 Arts Entertainment and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush & Kaller.
