Women who want more time with Bachelor Sean Lowe are getting their wish.
After adding an extra two-hour original episode Tuesday, ABC will again give Bachelor viewers another night of reality romantic drama with a “Sean Tells All” special slotted for Feb. 19.
The one-hour special – airing at 9 p.m. — will feature the Bachelor star sitting down with host Chris Harrison to talk about his journey on the reality show so far. He’ll discuss the women he’s sent home and the most controversial contestant in the bunch, Tierra. The episode also will feature never-before-seen footage and a sneak peek at the rest of the season.
The episode will serve as a lead-in for the season three premiere of Body of Proof, which airs at 10 p.m. on ABC. The Bachelor special will pre-empt Happy Endings, which has been airing two original episodes Tuesdays from 9-10 p.m. after Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 was canceled. Sources tell THR that Happy Endings likely will return in March.
Tuesday’s episode, which aired from 9-11 p.m., went up against the season two premiere of Smash on NBC. The musical drama ended up drawing abysmal ratings, averaging just a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49 and just 4.47 million viewers, a 71 percent drop from its debut’s 3.8 adults rating following a rich The Voice lead-in.
The special edition of The Bachelor pulled a 2.6 rating in the adult demo, improving on Monday’s episode by 8 percent and growing at 10 p.m. to easily top all other broadcast TV offerings in that hour.
