Who received Ashley Hebert‘s last rose on The Bachelorette seventh season finale? Was it J.P. Rosenbaum, a construction manager from Roslyn, N.Y. or Ben Flajnik, a winemaker from Sonoma, Calif.?

Both of the men met Herbert’s family during the finale, with Herbert’s sister Chrystie saying straight out that Rosenbaum was not the man for her sibling. The next day, Flajnik met the Heberts and had smoother sailing with Chrystie.
Rosenbaum and Flajnik both proposed to the dental student with sizable diamond rings but in the end, despite his rocky reception with her family, Hebert offered her final rose to Rosenbaum.
She told him, “Today is the reason why I went through all the good times and the bad times, and I’ve been wanting to tell you how much I loved you for so long now. You mean the world to me and I do not want to be with anyone else forever.”

As The Hollywood Reporter reported Monday, Herbert was well dressed for the climactic moment, donning a $16,790 Randi Rahm gown for the occasion. Rahm was Herbert’s go-to designer for the duration of the show, as she wore four ensembles from the designer’s collection in previous episodes.
Last week, Hebert had “overnight dates” with the final three contestants, one of whom (Constantine) made her selection process simple by admitting he was not that in to her.
