On Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert went to the hometown of her final four suitors.
First she went to Cumming, Ga. with Constantine, which she called “the best hometown date.”
“There’s something different about you here,” Ashley told him over lunch. “You’re more comfortable with me, too.” Later, she told Constantine’s mom that she’s be “more than willing to move” to Georgia so they could be closer to his family.
Her date with Ames in Chadds Ford, Pa. didn’t go as smoothly. Ashley told his mother and sister, “Our relationship is moving a lot slower than some of the others.” Said his mom, “Slow and steady wins the race.”

Next, Ashley went to Ben‘s winery in Sonoma, Calif. Said Ben before introducing her to his mother and sister, “They have to like you for this to work. This needs to work. This needs to be good otherwise it just doesn’t work for me.”
While Ashley enthused, “I could see myself spending the rest of my life with him,” Ben’s sister didn’t share mutual feelings. “Ashley seems sweet, but I am skeptical,” she said on the show.
For her final hometown date, J.P. took Ashley roller skating in Roslyn, N.Y.
“We’re holding hands, the disco ball is turning and I feel like I’m back in 7th grade,” she said. “I love it.”
He told Ashley, “I’m on such a high when I’m with you. When I’m without you it’s miserable,” but he was hesitant when speaking about their relationship to his mom. When she asked if he was in love, he said, “There are signs that point towards that, but I’m having difficulty admitting it.”
So who got a rose? Spoiler alert.
Ashley sent Ames home.
In the limo on his way out of the show, Ames said, “I’ve fallen in love with someone who clearly did not fall in love with me back… More than anything I want to be loved and I hope I find love. It’s difficult because I thought I might have found it but in fact, I guess now.”
Ben F., J.P. and Constantine will appear on next week’s episode, taped in Fiji, of the ABC reality show.
