LONDON – The BBC has ordered two more seasons of singing competition The Voice UK.
The show has brought in stronger ratings during its current third season, which added Kylie Minogue as a coach. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
The U.K. public broadcaster has renewed the singing competition from producer Wall to Wall based on the Talpa Media format for two more seasons, but the BBC said the lineup of coaches and hosts for the next season has yet to be determined.

Minogue has signaled she may be busy touring in the future, but the BBC has said it would like to bring her back and accomodate her schedule-wise.
The BBC originally committed to a two-year deal for The Voice UK in 2011, but then renewed it only for its third season to see if it could revive its ratings.
Said BBC One controller Charlotte Moore: “It’s been fantastic to see The Voice return in top form to kick-start BBC One’s brilliant year so far.”
Meanwhile, The Voice UK’s second live show of the season on Saturday drew season-low ratings for BBC flagship channel BBC One.
The third season of the singing competition has drawn better audience figures, with observers crediting the addition of Minogue to the judging panel, which also includes will.i.am, Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs lead singer Ricky Wilson.
Saturday’s second live show of the year attracted an average audience of just below 6 million. The first live show had drawn an average of 6.2 million viewers, down more than half a million from the previous weekend and the lowest audience of the season at the time.
