Watch Bob Dylan’s Intimate Return to ‘Late Show’ After 22 Years (Video)

Bob Dylan chose a fine time to return to the Late Show stage.

The legendary singer-songwriter was the musical guest for the penultimate episode of David Letterman‘s long-running talk show. Dylan last graced the stage of Letterman’s iconic program back in 1993, having first appeared on NBC’s Letterman-hosted Late Night in 1984.

Letterman introduced his luminary guest as “the greatest songwriter of modern times” before Dylan delivered an intimate performance of “The Night We Called It a Day,” lifted from his latest album Shadows in the Night.
