“We are very excited to partner up with Andy Cohen and the production team at Bravo,” George Cheeks, NBC Entertainment president of business operations and late night, said Wednesday in a statement. “We think that Andy’s brand of celebrity-fun-based talk will resonate with the broadcast audience and the station community has enthusiastically signed on for this summer test.” ??
Added Cohen: “I’m thrilled our show has the opportunity to reach a broader audience at all hours of the day.”
This is the latest expansion for Watch What Happens Live, which moved to a bigger studio at the start of the year. The series has become known for its mix of A-list celebrity guests, such as Jennifer Lawrence and Oprah Winfrey, with fan-favorite “Bravolebrities” like the stars of the Real Housewives franchise and Vanderpump Rules, among others.
