One of NASCAR’s top drivers is racing to The Grinder.
Carl Edwards had booked a cameo on Fox’s upcoming comedy starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage. The sitcom centers on a television star (Dean Sanderson, played by Lowe) who returns home to Boise to live with his real-life lawyer brother, Stewart (Savage), after his legal drama gets canceled.
Edwards will play a police deputy who pulls the pair over in the episode, which will air in November. We’re crossing our fingers that a backflip makes it into the scene.
The Grinder premieres Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
