CBS has ordered to pilot a female-led law enforcement drama from Heroes scribe Aron Eli Coleite and Jerry Bruckheimer.
Titled Trooper, the drama hails from Warner Bros. Television and revolves around a common-sense mother-turned-New York state trooper.
Coleite will write and executive produce the project alongside Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. KristieAnne Reed will serve as co-executive producer.
The project would mark the latest project from Bruckheimer Television to land at CBS, where the shingle currently has CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Amazing Race.
Trooper joins drama pilots Baby Big Shot and Elementary at the network this development season.
