CBS prevailed on a quiet Tuesday in the 18-49 demographic, as well as total viewers with new episodes of NCIS (3.8, 19.1 million), NCIS: Los Angeles (3.2, 16.4 million) and The Good Wife (2.1, 11.6 million). NCIS and NCIS: LA were flat compared to previous originals on March 1, while The Good Wife was down 5 percent. For the night, CBS averaged a 3.0 rating with 15.7 million viewers overall.
The Biggest Loser: Couples (3.0, 8.2 million) was up 11 percent week-to-week powering NBC to a 2.4 rating with 6.4 million viewers overall.
ABC averaged a 1.7 rating with 6.5 million viewers with a new episode of No Ordinary Family (1.5, 5.3 million), which was up 25 percent compared to its last original on March 1, when it aired opposite Fox’s American Idol. The ABC News special Best in Film: Greatest Movies of Our Time managed a 1.8 demo rating with 7 million viewers from 9-11 p.m.
Fox and Univision averaged a 1.6 demo rating each. Fox had reruns of Glee (1.9, 5.2 million) and Raising Hope (1.5, 4.1 million) leading into new comedy Traffic Light (1.1, 2.7 million) which tumbled 27 percent week-to-week.
