Germany’s Next Top Model is hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum and has been a ratings hit, and social phenomenon, since its launch in 2006.
German network ProSieben is currently airing the 12th season of the show. CBS and ProSiebenSat.1 unveiled the new deal Wednesday. Financial details were not disclosed.
America’s Next Top Model is one of the most successful reality formats of all time. The original U.S. show is currently under license in more than 100 markets worldwide, with 20 local versions on air globally.
Season 23 of America’s Next Top Model premiered in December on VH1 in the U.S. The new season is presented by British singer Rita Ora, who took over from long-running host and former supermodel Tyra Banks.
