CBS Sports analyst Greg Anthony has been suspended following an arrest Friday.
“Greg Anthony will not be working again for CBS this season. He has been suspended indefinitely,” a CBS spokesperson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
Anthony was arrested for allegedly soliciting a prostitute, Washington D.C.’s ABC 7 reported. He was caught in a sting operation in the nation’s capital.
Anthony played in the NBA from 1991-2002. Upon retiring, he began a broadcasting career commentating for ESPN and ABC. He joined CBS Sports in 2008 as a college basketball analyst. In 2013, he was named lead college basketball game analyst. He was slated to work the Michigan State-Maryland game Saturday on CBS.
