There’s a new Celebrity Apprentice.
Donald Trump named the seventh winner of his reality competition during the live finale Monday night on NBC.
Leeza Gibbons beat out Geraldo Rivera to take the honor, along with a prize in the form of $250,000 for their chosen charity.
Gibbons was playing for Leeza’s Care Connection, which helps families whose loved ones are suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. Rivera was playing for Life’s Work, which works with children who have developmental disabilities.
The final task found the duo creating a commercial for Universal Orlando Resort along with selling resort packages to raise money for charity. Gibbons and Rivera had to present their commercial at a red carpet event in New York.
Heading into the challenge, Rivera got help from eliminated competitors Vivica A. Fox, Ian Ziering and Lorenzo Lamas, the latter two with whom he famously clashed earlier in the season.
Gibbons — who didn’t clash with anyone all season long and was dubbed one of the nicest contestants by many of her competitors — was given a team consisting of Kevin Jonas, Brandi Glanville andJohnny Damon.
The preview for Monday night’s episode dubbed Gibbons “Lovely Leeza” while Rivera was nicknamed “Hurricane Geraldo.”
Past Celebrity Apprentice winners include Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Bret Michaels, John Rich, Arsenio Hall and Trace Adkins.
