Ricky Gervais wants to host the Oscars with Charlie Sheen… and it appears the troubled TV star would be open to it.
Sheen has been Twittering about the show, and even posted a photo of himself holding a painting of an Oscar statuette with his face. “Winner…! 2012,” he captioned it.
He also re-Tweeted a message, “Oscars should be called Charlies.”

Sheen also started a trending topic, #TigerBlood, which was still No. 2 as of Wednesday morning.
“Tiger blood now drips from my fangs!” Sheen told RadarOnline.com cameras that captured his twin boys, Max and Bob, being removed from his home Tuesday night — the same day his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, obtained a restraining order against him.
On Tuesday, Gervais blogged that he wanted to pair up with Sheen, whom he mocked while hosting the Golden Globes.
“I will host The Golden Globes again,” he wrote. “AND the Emmys, AND the Oscars if I can do it with Charlie Sheen. I mean it.”
“After each acceptance speech I’d just chat to Charlie, who would just be sitting in an arm chair smoking,” wrote Gervais. “He’d just say what’s on his incredible mind… It would be f—ing amazing.”
